Neste dia internacional da mulher precisamos falar sobre os movimentos que balançaram o mundo nos últimos seis meses, as manifestações Time's Up e a #MeToo fizeram o mundo pensar no quanto mudanças são necessárias e isso se refletiu em todos os campos inclusive na moda.
Todas as semanas de moda internacionais da temporada contaram com desfiles que trouxeram a força feminina como foco principal. Na NYFW não foi diferente, com fortes referências a década de 60, muitas marcas voltaram no tempo para relembrar a revolução sexual e as primeiras mulheres a clamarem pela igualdade de gênero.
Assim a Vogue americana decidiu reunir tudo em um único vídeo, os melhores looks da semana de moda de Nova York e as referências as décadas de 60 e 70, tudo isso ao som de "You're So Vain" da Carly Simon.

On this international women's day we need to talk about the movements that have shaken the world in the last six months, Time's Up and #MeToo demonstrations have made the world think about how much change is needed and this has been reflected in all fields including fashion.
All the international fashion weeks of the season featured shows that brought the female force as the main focus. At NYFW it wasn't different, with strong references to the 1960s, many brands went back in time to reminisce about the sexual revolution and the first women to claim gender equality.
So Vogue U.S. decided to put it together in a single video, the best looks from New York fashion week and the references to the 60s and 70s, all to the sound of Carly Simon's "You're So Vain".
