A semana começou com um dos eventos de moda mais esperados do ano o Met Gala 2018, baile organizado por Anna Wintour, editora da Vogue norte-americana, que uma vez por ano transforma o Metropolitan Museum of Art, em Nova York, em um tapete vermelho fashion.
Neste ano o tema "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination" (Corpos Sagrados: Moda e A Imaginação Católica), marcou o início de uma exposição incrível que celebra a influência da Igreja Católica na moda por mais de 1700 anos.
Entre os looks, referências a locais sagrados, pinturas com motivos religiosos e personalidades bíblicas originaram looks glamourosos, inusitados e refinados.
Em celebração aos melhores looks e a beleza do Met a Vogue produziu um vídeo com alguns dos ilustres convidados da noite interagindo com o riquíssimo cenário do museu, o resultado é um vídeo super produzido e que incorpora o tema do baile:
Night at the Museum
The week began with one of the most anticipated fashion events of the year the Met Gala 2018, a ball hosted by Anna Wintour, publisher of Vogue, which once a year turns the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York into a fashion red carpet.
This year the theme "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination" marked the beginning of an incredible exhibition that celebrates the influence of the Catholic Church in fashion for more than 1700 years.
References to sacred sites, paintings with religious motifs and biblical personalities originated glamorous looks, unusual and refined.
In celebration of the best looks, Vogue produced a video with some of the illustrious guests of the night interacting with the rich scenery of the museum, the result is a super produced video that incorporates the theme of the night:
