Ontem (4) foi noite de Oscar, a cerimônia que completou 90 anos em 2018 foi marcada por momentos divertidos, discursos necessários e pela diversidade entre indicados e vencedores.
Desde que Hollywood começou a falar no movimento Time's Up grandes mudanças vem ocorrendo no mercado cinematográfico. Manifestações como a ocorrida nos Golden Globes, quando todas as mulheres foram ao evento vestidas de preto, deram força para um questionamento que vai além da igualdade de gênero lançando luz na questão da diversidade em todos os âmbitos.
E se a lista de indicados já foi surpreendente ao trazer maior número de negros e mulheres concorrendo, a confirmação da mudança veio na noite de ontem. Entre os premiados resultados surpreendentes como o vencedor mais velho, o primeiro filme estrelado por uma pessoa transexual e o primeiro roteiro original de um negro.
O grande vencedor do Oscar 2018 foi o filme de Guillermo Del Toro, "A Forma da Água", que faturou 4 estatuetas, seguido de perto por "Dunkirk" que levou três estatuetas. "O destino de uma nação", "Blade Runner 2049" e "Três anúncios para um crime" levaram dois prêmios cada.
Del Toro por sinal garantiu a quarta vitória de um diretor mexicano nos últimos cinco anos e falou sobre a importância de "apagar fronteiras" em referência à proposta do presidente dos EUA, Donald Trump, de construir um muro entre os Estados Unidos e o México.
"Eu sou um imigrante, como Alfonso [Cuarón], Gael [Garcia Bernal] e muitos de vocês. A melhor coisa no nosso setor é poder apagar as linhas, as fronteiras. Muros só vão piorar as coisas."
Frances McDormand vencedora do prêmio de melhor atriz convidou todas as mulheres indicadas na premiação a ficarem de pé. "Todas nós temos uma história para contar. Vamos falar sobre nossos projetos, que precisam de financiamento. Temos que ter inclusão".
Além dos assuntos sérios, a noite rendeu diversos memes e cenas divertidas como o momento em que Guillermo Del Toro conferiu se realmente tinha sido o vencedor na categoria de melhor filme e Jennifer Lawrence pulando as cadeiras sem derrubar uma gota de bebida.
No tapete vermelho, as escolhas se dividiram basicamente pelas cores teve o grupo que optou por cores claras como nudes e brancos, o time dos metalizados e o grupo que escolheu cores vibrantes e inesperadas. Entre as tendências lançadas no red carpet os laços se destacaram em diversas produções, o que também chamou atenção foi a escolha de acessórios na mesma cor da roupa. Oscar 2018: Best Looks
Yesterday (4) was Oscar night, the ceremony that celebrated 90 years in 2018 was full of funny moments, necessary speeches and by the diversity between nominees and winners.
Since Hollywood started the Time's Up movement major changes have been taking place in the film market. Manifestations like the one that happened in the Golden Globes, when all the women went to the event dressed in black, gave strength to a question that goes beyond gender equality by shedding light on the issue of diversity in all spheres.
And if the list of nominees was already surprising to bring more diversity, confirmation of the change came last night. Among the award winning results the oldest winner, the first film starring a transsexual person and the first black winner in the best original screenplay category.
The big winner of the 2018 Oscar was Guillermo Del Toro's "Shape of Water", winning 4 statuettes, followed closely by "Dunkirk" which took three statuettes. "Darkest Hour", "Blade Runner 2049" and "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" took two awards each.
Del Toro, by the way, secured the fourth victory of a Mexican director in the last five years and spoke about the importance of "erasing borders" in reference to the proposal of the US president, Donald Trump, to build a wall between the United States and Mexico.
"I am an immigrant, like Alfonso [Cuarón], Gael [Garcia Bernal] and many of you, the best thing in our industry is to be able to erase the lines, the borders, walls will only make things worse."
Frances McDormand, winner of the best actress award, invited all the women nominated for the awards to stand. "[...] we all have stories to tell and projects we need financed, don't talk to us about it at the parties tonight, invite us into your office, we'll tell you all about them".
In addition to serious matters, the evening guaranteed several memes and entertaining scenes such as the time when Guillermo Del Toro checked to see if he had really been the winner in the best director category and Jennifer Lawrence jumping the chairs without overturning the drink.
In the red carpet, the choices were divided basically by the colors, there was the group that opted for light colors like nudes and whites, the metallized team and the group that chose vibrant and unexpected colors. Among the trends launched in the red carpet the ties stood out in several productions, what also called attention was the choice of accessories in the same color of the clothes.
