Acabou no último sábado o Festival de Cinema de Cannes (8/05 - 19/05), em 12 dias de grandes filmes e muita moda, a Riviera Francesa reuniu a nata de Hollywood em tapetes vermelhos, festas e coletivas de imprensa.
Para participar dos eventos as famosas vestiram seus melhores looks e os destaques vão para os babados, transparências e para o estilo mullet, aquele mais curto na frente e mais comprido atrás.
Neste ano, as celebridades que mais chamaram a atenção foram Cate Blanchett, Julianne Moore, Lupita Nyong'o, Bella Hadid e Lea Seydoux. Kristen Stewart e sua habitual rebeldia levaram a atriz a tirar os saltos altíssimos e caminhar descalça pelo tapete vermelho. Se isso não é atitude, não sei o que é!
Pra quem não sabe, até hoje Cannes possui uma política ridícula e antiquada na qual as mulheres são proibidas de entrar no Palais des Festivals, onde ocorre o evento, caso não estejam usando saltos altos.
Outra manifestação não tão discreta que o festival trouxe a tona é o movimento "free the nipple" que promove a igualdade de gênero, argumentando que mulheres e homens deveriam ter a mesma liberdade. Kendall Jenner foi a principal representante com um look bastante revelador e empoderado.
Além é claro do movimento Time's Up, que durante o festival foi liderado por Cate Blanchett, que em protesto subiu as escadas do Palais des Festivals ladeada por cerca de 80 mulheres.

2018 Cannes Film Festival
The Cannes Film Festival ended last Saturday, in 12 days of great films and lots of fashion, the French Riviera gathered the best of Hollywood in red carpets, parties and press conferences.
To participate in the events, the actresses wore amazing looks following the latest trends and the highlights go to the ruffles, transparencies and the mullet style, shortest in the front and longer in the back.
This year, the celebrities who attracted attention were Cate Blanchett, Julianne Moore, Lupita Nyong'o, Bella Hadid and Lea Seydoux. Kristen Stewart and her usual rebelliousness led the actress to take her high heels and walk barefoot on the red carpet. If that's not attitude, I do not know what it is.
For those who don't know, Cannes has a ridiculous and old-fashioned policy in which women are prohibited from entering the Palais des Festivals, where the event occurs, if they are not wearing high heels.
Another not-so-unobtrusive manifestation that the festival brought to the fore is the "free the nipple" movement that promotes gender equality, arguing that women and men should have the same freedom. Kendall Jenner was the main rep with a very revealing and empowering look.
During festival, Time's Up movement was led by Cate Blanchett, who in protest climbed the steps of the Palais des Festivals lined with a group of 80 women.
