Ontem (13), foi dia de Teen Choice Awards, premiação em que os adolescentes escolhem seus favoritos do cinema, TV, internet e música. O evento levou um time de famosos para o tapete "azul" da premiação que acontece em Los Angeles. Entre os que levaram a famosa prancha de surf para casa a banda Maroon 5, que recebeu o Decade Award pelos 10 anos de carreira, Chris Pratt, por sua atuação em “Guardiões da Galáxia Vol. 2″, e a série "Riverdale" que foi premiada em sete categorias.
Entre as garotas, Vanessa Hudgens foi a primeira na história da premiação a receber o #SeeHer Award, por seu empenho em lutar por uma representação feminina mais realista na mídia e fez discurso empoderado:
“Eu acho que é tão importante aceitar a nossa individualidade e abraçar a nossa estranheza, não ter medo de ser diferente. Saiba que em seu coração, você é suficiente e quanto mais você entender isso, mais você brilhará“.
Quem também falou belas palavras em seu discurso foi Zendaya, grande destaque da noite a atriz e cantora foi premiada por sua atuação em "Homem-Aranha: De Volta ao Lar" e falou sobre o quanto é importante que os jovens americanos questionem e se posicionem diante da situação política do país, ela também deu as caras no clipe de Bruno Mars "Versace On The Floor" numa prévia do vídeo divulgada no evento.
