Robert Pattinson bem que gostaria de poder ser invisível, nem que fosse somente por um dia, mas desde que o ator deu vida ao vampiro Edward Cullen na saga Crepúsculo esse parece um sonho bastante distante. Pattinson, que é capa da edição de setembro da revista GQ americana, contou o quanto vem lutando para mudar sua imagem desde que o último filme da saga teen estreou, fugindo de blockbusters e focando em filmes menores e mais desafiadores. Com vários filmes independentes para estrear, entre eles o agurdado "Good Time", aclamado em Cannes, Robert Pattinson cada vez mais está se distanciando do vampiro que lhe rendeu tanto assédio da mídia e dos fãs, e consolidando uma nova imagem que parece combinar muito mais com sua personalidade introvertida e discreta.
Para brincar com os reflexos da fama que perduram até hoje, Pattinson escreveu e atuou em um divertido vídeo para o site da GQ, chamado de "Robert Pattinson Desperately Needs a New York City Hot Dog" (Robert Pattinson Precisa Desesperadamente de um Hot Dog Nova-iorquino), o vídeo demonstra o quão difícil pode ser realizar um ato tão simples quanto comprar um hot dog quando se é famoso.

The perks of being invisible
Robert Pattinson would like to be invisible, if only for one day, but since the actor lived the vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga this seems a rather distant dream. Pattinson, who is the cover of the September issue of the american GQ magazine, told how hard he has been struggling to change his image since the last movie of the teen saga premiered, running away from blockbusters and focusing on smaller, more challenging films. With several independent movies to debut, among them the acclaimed "Good Time", successful in Cannes, Robert Pattinson is increasingly distancing himself from the vampire that has caused him so much harassment from the media and the fans, and consolidating a new image that seems much closer to his introverted and discreet personality.
To play with the reflexes of fame that linger to this day, Pattinson wrote and performed in a fun video for the GQ website, called "Robert Pattinson Desperately Needs a New York City Hot Dog", the video demonstrates how difficult it can be to perform an act as simple as buying a hot dog when you are a famous person.
